The standard halogen headlights with LED daytime running lights offer a clear view, even in difficult lighting conditions. Thanks to their headlight range control, which is also included as standard, the headlight range is adapted to suit various load levels.

It’s up to you: whichever of the wheels you choose is sure to emphasise the sportiness of your new Golf. Choose from sizes between 15, 16, and 17 inches and dynamic designs, bound to give your new Golf a dynamic touch that further emphasises its striking stance.

For those who want even more, the optional Discover Pro navigation system offers innovative gesture control. This allows you to change from one radio station to another or change the system settings in your car, such as the intensity of the interior lighting, with a single hand movement. It also has a 23.4 cm (9.2 inch) screen that is capable of displaying a clear 3D map. It also features eight speakers, FM radio, a CD drive that can also play music in MP3, AAC and WMA format, two SD card slots, AUX-IN and USB ports and a Bluetooth connection for mobile phones.

The optional App Connect function makes it possible for you to easily connect your smart phone with the radio system Composition Media or with the navigation system Discover Pro which is optionally available. In this way, selected apps can be operated on your mobile telephone via the touch screen.

Volkswagen provides a total of three interfaces to connect smart phones with a broad range of options: MirrorLink™, Android Auto™ from Google and Apple CarPlay™.

Never miss another call, while always keeping focused on the road. High-quality sound is assured, thanks to a digital speech processor, an integrated high-end microphone in the headliner and the vehicle's speakers.

A phone call begun outside the car can also be transferred to the hands-free system via Bluetooth while the mobile phone remains in your pocket.
