The following park assist systems are available:
Park Assist Plus
The optional Park Assist Plus system can tell you not only whether a parking space is big enough as you drive by – it also parks for you. Up to a speed of 40 km/h, it will search for suitable parallel parking spaces – parking bays up to a speed of 20 km/h. Once you have decided on one of the parking spaces found, you can start the parking process. Park Assist Plus takes care of everything for you: steering, accelerator and brakes. All you have to do is monitor the parking process. Park Assist Plus can also drive out of parallel parking spaces again.
Area View
The optional Area View system makes parking and manoeuvring easier for you:
Four cameras show you a 360° view of your vehicle, kerbs, parking lines and obstacles – clearly arranged on the infotainment display. Area View also shows you areas that are outside of your direct field of vision – so you can even see “around the corner”.
